Pollinators: Key role for Biodiversity and Food

Pollinators, Biodiversity,
Food Quality

BeeLife, together with EU Beekeeping Associations and agricultural stakeholders, plays a vital role in improving environmental health and enhancing food quality through pollination activities.

By monitoring bees and other pollinators, we can detect health threats caused by harmful pesticides, such as neonicotinoids, as well as the ongoing loss of biodiversity.

These important insects serve as indicators, revealing when the balance of our environment is disrupted.

What harms pollinators inevitably poses a risk to human health, underscoring the interconnectedness of our ecosystems.
